The weight and size of luggage is limited - no more than 115 cm in three dimensions and no more than 10 kilograms.
For baggage there are exceptions for flying business class. For them, the free hand luggage allowance has been increased to two pieces of 15 kilograms each. But the dimensions of the luggage must be the same - 115 cm.
In addition, along with the luggage, the passenger has the right to take personal property from a limited list.
These are things that he cannot do without in flight (a cane, medicines, a cradle, baby, diabetic food), as well as valuable, expensive and fragile items - small electronics, a briefcase, a handbag.
Laptops, video cameras and other electronics do not need to be weighed and marked. They are not subject to baggage allowance and are not included in the weight of hand luggage.
"Light" in Ural
Ural Airlines introduced a new fare in December last year - no-luggage, aka light. The company was in a hurry and did not properly think through the rules of the game according to the "light" rules. As a result, the new tariff turned out to be crude and controversial.
It took the company's management two days to understand this and, having canceled the “light” for a while, they quickly released a new version of their no-baggage fare. This happened in December 2015.

But the weight system does not always work. On the official page of Ural Airlines there is a special table that sets the amount of the surcharge within a certain excess, without reference to specific extra pounds, regardless of whether it is economy or business class.
Conditions for the transport of animals
A passenger who wants to transport his pet in the cabin or in the luggage compartment is obliged to inform the employees of Ural Airlines at least 24 hours before departure. Booking "live" baggage must be confirmed by the air carrier. Only in this case the animal has the right to fly. In addition, the passenger must provide documents for his pet:
- On flights within Russia - a veterinary certificate of vaccination of the animal / veterinary passport.
- On international flights - an international veterinary certificate issued on the basis of a veterinary certificate and registered with the veterinary service of the border control point, a certificate of the breeding value of the animal for export, documents required by the veterinary authorities of the country of arrival or transit.
And passengers who travel to Israel with animals must also have a printed permit from the veterinary control of Ben Gurion Airport to bring their animal into Israel.
There are special conditions for the UAE and Portugal. There, the airline does not transport animals in the cabin of the aircraft.
Official information on the company's website states that when booking a carriage, the passenger must indicate the type, number and weight of live animals or birds being transported.
