Mountain biome for minecraft. Biomes in MineCraft, their types, description, mechanics Minecraft tropical biomes how to find

A biome is a collection of ecosystems in one natural and climatic zone. In Minecraft, these are natural zones into which the world was divided after the Halloween Update. They represent separate zones of the landscape with different plants, relief and blocks that make up the landscape.

Biome types.

There are 12 types of biomes in total:

Jungle.
A biome with a very large number of giant and common trees. On them you can find many vines and foliage. Ferns can also be found in this biome. This biome is predominantly hilly with mountains. The crown of a tropical tree that grows on a hill is the highest natural point in the game. In addition, this biome is home to a friendly ocelot mob capable of sprinting. Also, only in this biome can you find a "temple in the jungle". In the jungle, hostile mobs very rarely spawn, since there is a lot of foliage and spawning is impossible.

Swamp.
A flat biome with many small lakes. Trees grow in lakes, and mushrooms (mostly brown) grow under them. You can also find reeds. The water is predominantly gray in color, and water lilies float on its surface, for which no tool is needed to collect. Underwater, you can find a lot of clay, from which you can make bricks. Also, a witch's hut is often found here.

Forest.
A biome with a very large number of birch and / or oak trees and a fair amount of grass. It can sometimes appear as a tech biome within a lowland biome.

Taiga.
Snowy landscape with blue-gray grass and many conifers. Since version 1.8 Beta, wolves appear there much more often. In 1.1, the developers fixed a bug due to which there was no snow and ice in the taiga. Most of the taiga is generated hilly. Since version 1.7, there are two options: taiga without snow and cold taiga, in which water freezes and snow falls.

Desert.
This biome is predominantly composed of sand, dry bushes and cacti. There are no trees because there is no land in the desert. Lava lakes, sediments and water lakes are not uncommon. Sand wells, characteristic sand villages and temples are rare. Sometimes, due to bugs in the desert, you can find cacti up to seven blocks in height.

Plain.
A flat biome with lots of tall grass and rolling hills. Trees are very rare. On the plains there are a very large number of ponds and ravines, and a canyon can also come to the surface. This is one of three biomes in which villages come across (the second is the savannah, the third is the desert).

Ocean.
A very large biome made entirely of water. At the bottom, you can find plains and mountains, and the bottom itself mainly consists of gravel and clay. You can also often find canyons. The depth of the ocean reaches 30 blocks, and the length - up to several thousand. Occasionally, islands are generated in the ocean like small versions of other biomes.

Tundra.
A barren snowy area with virtually no trees, the surface of lakes and rivers in this biome is covered with ice.

The mountains.
The mountain biome, which was introduced in 1.8 Beta. Trees are rarely generated. More often than not other biomes, scenic structures such as arches, cliffs, waterfalls, overhangs and flying islands can be found here. Also in the mountains there is the greatest chance of generating underground caves. Sometimes there are small lakes at sea level. Emerald Ore can only be found in this biome.

Mushroom Island.
The biome most frequently generated in the ocean on an island. All the ground on it is covered with mycelium. This is the only biome, with the exception of the Dark Forest, where huge mushrooms grow and where mushrooms can grow in daylight. Only mushroom cows spawn naturally in this landscape.

Instructions

If you are determined to find such a biome - for mining unique materials on it, taming mushroom cows or carrying out any other game intentions - you should first find out a little more about what the subject of your search is (and see if you will like he is to you at all).

Places of abundant growth of mushrooms will always be encountered only on the outskirts of the main "mainland" - in the form of islands. Where exactly the system will generate such a biome, you will not be able to predict. The ground on it is covered with a special type of block - mycelium. Mushrooms, including giant ones, grow on it in a natural way and even in clear daylight. There are also other plants, but on other types of soil (however, when the mycelium spreads on them, they fall out of the soil).

Be sure to craft a boat - this is the only means of transportation on the ocean. In it you will go in search of the coveted mushroom island. To craft a boat, you need five blocks of planks. Make them from the chopped wood available in the inventory or specially for this purpose (any kind of wood will do). Arrange the boards on the workbench so that its lower horizontal row and the outermost cells of the middle one are fully occupied. Now just put the finished product on the water and hit the road.

Control the boat using the W, A, S and D buttons. To exit or sit in it, use the right mouse button. Add to your inventory a sufficient number of supplies for a long voyage (including food) - because it is not known how long it will take to find the mushroom island, and therefore the gamer (or rather, his character) may be in danger of starvation, and evil monsters can spawn nearby at nightfall ...

Please be patient - the mushroom island is not easy to find. However, if you do not want to wander in search of it for a long time, use some of the secrets of experienced "minecraft". Just create a new world and in the line with the key to generate it, specify the word "lost" or the number "4". Seed 3327780 may also work. Then you will find the desired biome not far from where you respawn - but still in the ocean, although close to your shore.

note

Do not try to transfer mycelium to a regular biome - it still does not take root there. This type of soil does not transfer to ordinary grass blocks (by the way, the grass is not able to replace it in the same way). Yes, and when the mycelium is destroyed, it will drop from you in the form of a cube of ordinary earth. In addition, other plants do not take root on it (except, in fact, mushrooms), and only a mushroom cow is capable of spawning - and even dark caves under this biome do not spawn other creatures. However, snow and iron golems can also appear there - if the conditions are right for them.

The mountain biome is characterized by very uneven terrain. Many high, almost sheer cliffs are generated here.

Sometimes one or more sides of the cliff are almost gentle, which allows you to climb on them simply by jumping over the blocks. But sometimes it is possible to reach the top and descend only with a pickaxe with a sufficient margin of safety.

In mountain biomes, you can see amazing structures - arches and grottoes, waterfalls and lavopads, which can become not only a decoration for your home, but also an excellent landmark. It is in this biome that you can find flying islands. At the foot of the mountains, there are often small lakes, comfortably fenced off from the world by cliffs. Octopuses can even be found in the lakes, and it will not be difficult to catch fish in them at all.

Deposits of coal and iron often appear on the surface of the cliffs, and deep caves can be found inside the mountains, going down to the very administration. Mountain biomes often have open caverns that can be explored in search of minerals without wasting time digging mines. The main thing is to take more torches and a durable one - such caves are usually full of zombies. For miners wishing to establish contact with local residents, the mountain biome is very important as emerald ore is only found here.

The mountains are mostly covered with a small layer of earth and grass. Sometimes you can find entire areas of bare cobblestone and lava lakes located on it. There are few trees generated, but there are usually enough trees to craft the necessary tools. There are also a small number of flowers and peaceful mobs, though less than on the plain or in the forest. Perhaps this is due to the fact that they fall from the rocks and break.

The mountain biome is good for building a house. If you make an entrance in a sheer cliff not high above the ground, then it will be difficult for monsters to get into your house, and at night you can explore the caves lying at the foot of the mountain and improve them to your liking.

It is not worth placing a house on the top of the mountain, although it is easier to protect it from mobs there. But then too much time will have to be spent on campaigns for resources. Unless, of course, you have Industrial Craft 2, and you are not going to install a generator.

It is convenient to arrange a lighthouse on the mountain from lavopad or a burning hellish stone, it will be visible from afar.
The disadvantage of the mountain biome is that there is a lot of shadow on its territory, in which mobs spawn even during the day. It is not easy to run away from them because of the difficult terrain. The mountain biome makes farming difficult and it is difficult to fence off the necessary territory on it, because mobs can easily jump on your head from some cliff.

By the way, while I play Minecraft, my sister gets to me, but I open a site on my laptop where all free games are collected only for girls and I let her play on the site gamergirl.ru. And I myself sometimes play interesting flash games on this site. Recommend.

In this article, I will tell you about all the biomes available in Minecraft. Well, what are biomes? Biomes are natural and climatic zones into which the entire map in Minecraft is divided. Each biome is unique in its own way, and represents separate zones of the landscape with different relief.

So let's go in order ...

A very large, open-air biome made entirely of water. At the bottom of the ocean, mountains and plains are often found; the bottom itself is made of clay and gravel. The depth of the ocean can reach 30 blocks, and the length is up to several thousand blocks. At times in the ocean, small or large islands can be generated.

A relatively flat biome with hilly terrain and a lot of tall grass. Trees can also be generated, but very infrequently. A huge number of ravines and ponds, in addition, huge gorges can appear on the surface. The only one of the three biomes in which villages are generated. Horses can also spawn here.

This biome consists only of cacti, sand (sandstone), dry bushes. Sometimes there are sand wells, temples and typical sandy villages. Rarely, due to bugs, it is allowed to meet cacti up to 7 blocks high.

A mountain biome that was released not so long ago. Trees are generated, however infrequently. Here, more than other biomes are allowed to meet such magnificent structures as cliffs, arches, overhangs, waterfalls, floating islands. Here is the highest possibility of generating underground caves. Sometimes there are not very large lakes at sea level. Only in this biome is it allowed to meet emerald ore.

A biome with a huge number of oak and / or birch trees, plus a lot of tall grass.

Tundra with a considerable number of conifers and dark blue grass. Quite often, the taiga is generated hilly. After update 1.7.2, there are 2 types of taiga: taiga without snow and the most rare cold taiga, in which snow falls and the water freezes.

A flat biome with many small lakes. Trees can grow in lakes, a huge number of mushrooms (mainly coffee) grow under them, and vines grow on the foliage. In addition, it is allowed to find reeds. The water is grayish; water lilies float on its surface. There can be a considerable amount of clay in front of the water. The Witch's hut is also generated.

The only biome of the Nether. At heights 1 and 128 it is limited by bedrock. The ocean of lava is located at a height of 31. In addition, lava flows faster and further than in the ordinary world. Ghasts, lava cubes, efreet, wither skeletons and zombie pigmen spawn only here. In this biome, hellish fortresses are generated.

The only biome of the End. Implies a low, confined area of Endstone in the middle of a void lined with obsidian pillars. Only Ender travelers, Ender silverfish and the only Ender dragon spawn here. A very interesting biome, the meaning of which is to kill the Dragon.

A snow-covered empty area with practically no trees, the surface of rivers and lakes in this biome consists of ice.

Mushroom island

A biome that is most often generated on a peninsula in the ocean. The earth in it is covered with mycelium. A very unique biome in which the Mushroom Cow will live.

The biome in which tropical trees and their giant variants grow - baobabs. They have a lot of foliage and vines, unlike other biomes, in addition, fern grows in this biome. The biome is hilly, there are mountains. In addition, a temple can be found in this biome. In tropical thickets, aggressive mobs spawn a little, since there is a lot of foliage here, so spawning is impracticable.

From floating islands to eerie zombie villages and lava-laden mountains, we've collected best seeds Minecraft to generate beautiful, amazing worlds.

Here we have collected the best Minecraft seeds for you. In Minecraft, no two playthroughs are the same, which is the highlight of the game. First, you shoot back from the army of the dead, and a minute later you are already head over heels in creepers, ready to explode. But if you want to make your adventure more thoughtful, then this is where seeds come in handy.

A seed is, simply put, a string of numbers that controls what is generated and where in world of minecraft... Maybe you want to go to the icy desert. Maybe you want to start the game with high level gear. Or maybe you are tired of standard survival and want to add some variety to the gameplay. How about spawning on a tiny island in a godforsaken place?

The only thing you need to remember about seeds is that you must be using the correct version of Minecraft or your seed may not work the way you want it to.

Fortunately, running an older version of Minecraft is easy. All you have to do is open the launcher, click on Launch Options, then Add. From here you can name the configuration and below is a dropdown list with all previous updates. Just click on the one you want, go back to the news section and download the version you want.

A large village can both promote and ruin the entire passage. This particular village is not fraught with wheat or wooden swords. Oh no! This village has a forge containing seven obsidian blocks, nine iron ingots, two gold ingots, an iron helmet and breastplate, an iron pickaxe, and three super useful diamonds. Better yet, this is not technically cheating. What's not to like here?

To be honest, I have no idea what's going on with this world. Why is there another mountain on top of the mountain? Why is the village so high up? How do villagers get to their crops? Why is there a small shack on the mountain on the right? It could be a good place to store loot, though. Let's see how the skeleton will try to hit you at this distance.

For this to work, simply create a new world, enter a seed and turn on the Amplified world type. You will sleep right outside the village, so it will be easy to start the game.

Sometimes Minecraft does not generate structures as it should, resulting in amazing anomalies like this one; a temple overrun by the desert. Not only do you have a wonderful village just around the corner, but you can also explore this sand-buried temple. And, having passed it, you will gain wealth in the form of emeralds, gold, golden apples, saddles and horse armor, which means that you can immediately get yourself an equipped horse.

Looking to move to a city off the coast with great views? A dream can come true! Villages often spawn in small groups. You may have seen screenshots of hundreds of villager houses standing nearby. They are not real, and in most cases, they are made with the help of the mod. In fact, it is very rare to see several villages next to each other. Of course, except for this seed, where a giant village spawned right on the seashore.

Do you see this? To the right of the island, see a dark shape under the surface of the water? If you want to explore the depths and fight the Ancient Guardian, then this seed is for you. The island to the left of the underwater fortress is also very useful. It's far enough away that you won't get fatigued, which greatly slows down your block mining speed, and it has enough room and things to start with. In addition, from here you can quickly swim to land if you need any resources.

Nothing beats a reckless sweep of a forest mansion to kill all the vindicators and evocators (not to be confused with the villagers) that move. But finding a forest mansion in survival is pretty tricky. It will take many hours to comb every forest in the hope that one day you will come face to face with this terrifying wooden structure. So instead of wasting countless hours, how about just entering that seed and showing up right in front of the mansion?

Turn right just outside the spawn area and continue in that direction. In the end, you will see many islands, but not in the sea, but in the air, as if they were being held by some invisible threads. You say this is magic? Well, let there be magic. Since the flying islands take a long time to build, this seed is great for those looking to skip the build and jump straight to building new life high in the sky.

Who doesn't love ravines? With this seed, you will appear just behind this big hole in the ground. But head north of the spawn and this is where the real fun begins. There is a village 100 meters away. Quite a typical thing, the villagers hoot and get stuck out of the blue - you know, as usual - so just dunk the village and head to the well. Head inside, dig straight down and you will find yourself in an abandoned mine that just begs to be explored.

Find Survival Too Easy? Turn Minecraft into The Walking Dead and this problem goes away. This seed surrounds you with zombies from the back and front. For some strange, inexplicable reason, all that remains of this forgotten settlement are zombie inhabitants. Maybe ordinary zombies didn't like the attitude towards them, and they formed an alliance and rebelled? Who knows ... Anyway, your job is to sort out this mess. Just make sure you set the night time ("/ time set night") so they don't all get burnt out in the sunlight.

Plain of Ice Thorns - This is a rare variant of the Tundra biome with huge thorns made of dense ice and ... and that's all, perhaps. However, it makes a beautiful background - which is why this seed is so impressive. You will sleep in a picturesque forest, the ocean splashes on one side, and an icy paradise stretches on the other side. Perhaps this is the perfect world to create an Adventure Time game.

It is worth rolling back to the old version 1.4 to plunge into one of the most magnificent sources of useful resources in Minecraft. Jungle biomes are quite rare, and the chance of finding such an exquisite, randomly generated archipelago is incredibly slim. But this is more than just a beautiful area. Packed with animals and full of available resources, this location is a great choice to play in Ultimate Survival mode.

Island Paradise is great, but if you're looking for something a little more serious, why not try this incredible seed? A giant verdant firmament hovers in the air with blatant disregard for the laws of physics, towering over the dark, hopeless mouth of an inviting ravine ... But before you go in search of treasures, mention should be made of the jungle temple right on the other side of the river. But this is not so important.

Under normal circumstances, I would say that mixing all my favorite things together is crazy. However, in this particular seed, Frankenstein's biome fusion gets along really well. Huge desert; the mountains; high-altitude forest; inexplicably lush vegetation; village; desert temple ... It all comes together to create endless possibilities for many adventures.

If the layers of colored clay don't seem attractive enough for you, this seed boasts several other interesting features. The game begins in a ravine where dense clusters of oak trees grow: after climbing the plateau, you will see a vast forest in the mesas with a lake in a deep crater. Find a cave lurking at the edge of the crater and you'll be taken directly into a vast underground tunnel system.

As Gandhi once said, "To achieve true enlightenment, one must isolate himself on an unforgiving island to survive in Minecraft." This humble world could inspire you to think deeply. The necessary resources are practically absent here, only octopuses are your only friends, apart from Mr. Grass, Mr. Sand and Mr. Gravel. After a while, you too can begin to humanize inanimate objects. The best survival seed; 10/10, ready to go crazy here again.

870685196012565250 (1.8.3)

Back to civilization, right? There is no village more picturesque than this small village located on a thawed patch of cold taiga. There is a friendly blacksmith, a small farm, and even diamonds that you can, ahem, borrow. If you need a place to build a thriving metropolis and love a snowy background, this seed is for you.

1154343752 (1.9)

Mushroom biomes in Minecraft are usually pretty isolated: tiny chunks of land on the high seas with a couple of mushroom cows and nothing more. This seed, however, generates a unique mushroom biome far from the sea. After spawning, you are free to immediately go to the emerald thicket, however, using only one bowl and your mind, you can create a dwelling in the mushroom biome and forever feed on stewed mushrooms. It's easy to become a vegetarian here.

4706651163609820240 (1.9)

Budding supervillains in Minecraft these days have a hard time. In fact, this is an organizational nightmare. Where can you find a place to install an intimidatingly large lava wall? How to hide your dynamite superweapons? And the corpses? Well, this seed has a solution: a hollow mountain 244 blocks high, actually made to house all of your cunning plans. It even has a zombie dungeon for endless farming experience.

5936919068236758935 (1.8.4)

Bring your lumberjack dreams to life with this giant taiga seeder with a large forest of redwoods. You will fall asleep near a cave, where you can immediately arrange a shelter or a mine, leaving more time to explore the surroundings. One of the two paths inside the cave ends in a dead end, but the other takes you to a magnificent view of the ocean.

8700829340959843130 (1.5)

I don't know how Steve survived the end of the world, but this seed proves that it takes a lot more than a meteor shower to kill him. A giant, perfectly round crater in the ground leads into an underground network of caves, ravines and mines. A lot of ore can be mined here, including sparkling diamonds. The crater is also a convenient natural lamb trap. Sorry sheep.

3273650411067511766 (1.8.8)

You know, not all islands have to be tropical. The peaks of this mountainous island are covered with snow and are lost in the clouds. The downside is that there are no animals on the island, so you can't really dine here. However, this is far from an unfriendly place: there are coal deposits in the rocks, as well as many trees and grass to help you swing quickly.

1556388534623276506 (1.7)

Don't be fooled by your spawn point - you don't want this ravine. Want to see a real underground miracle? Head towards coordinates 236 68 -704. Looking into the chasm, you will see an open-plan oak library (okay, it just doesn't have a few walls) intersecting with the fortress. Stairs and bookshelves line the walls: you may need several tomes to enchant your equipment, as soon you will have to descend into the End ...

96909624 (1.8.1)

You are probably used to finding strange witch huts (and then running away from them in a different direction so as not to die from poisonous potions). But a hut on such pillars? Well, it’s possible. Move to coordinates 207, 66, 614 and you will see these long wooden legs reaching down to the ground. If you head southwest of the spawn, you will find yourself in a village: there is an abandoned mine right below it.
