In the summer, the Krasnaya Polyana Resort provides guests with the opportunity to enjoy a beach holiday on the Black Sea in Sochi! How to get there, hotels, shops, entertainment Krasnaya Polyana Gorki city to get to the sea.

This year my family and I decided to do something different. When deciding on a vacation spot, we wondered if we wanted to go to the Black Sea beach, packed to capacity, to inadequate prices and dubious service. It turned out - we don’t want to))) Therefore, the decision to go not to the sea, but to the mountains turned out to be super true. The choice fell on the heritage of our Winter Olympics - the Hotel "Gorki Gorod Apartments 3 *" in the village of Esto-Sadok (+540 m above sea level). Imeretinskaya Bay is 42 km from the hotel. straight track, with tunnels, a cable-stayed bridge, and magnificent views. By the way, we rode from our apartments on the sea three times, we simply didn’t notice 42 kilometers, because we drove quickly and without traffic jams for about 35 minutes. The sea in Imeretinka is excellent!

Advice : to find a hotel, you can enter "rest in Adler" or "rest in Krasnaya Polyana" in the search engine, it will give you a bunch of options, but I advise you to choose "Gorki Gorod Apartments".

I will say right away that The holiday turned out to be surprisingly budget-friendly. We went in mid-July 2016. I purchased the tour through an agency that posted a very advantageous offer on one of the "discount" sites.

The cost of living for two adults and two small children for 6 days (5 nights) was only 15,960 rubles.

For this money, we lived in a huge 130 m2 room, with three separate bedrooms, each of which had a separate bathroom with a bath or shower. The bed linen was of excellent quality, snow white. Towels were changed every three days. Also, the room, or rather the apartment, was equipped with modern kitchen furniture and appliances. In the kitchen of the living room there were two more sofas, which, if desired, could also accommodate guests. In general, such an area for our small family was even somewhat too big))) But we liked it). The view from the loggias was amazing! And what air!))) After the unbearable Krasnodar heat, it was simply impossible to breathe in the mountain air. He wanted to eat with a spoon, like ice cream.

As for the hotel itself, it can be given a solid four plus. No, with three pluses. There are many rooms, they are modern, spacious and well equipped. Our room had everything from an iron to a dishwasher. There was no oven and washing machine, but you could live a week without them, and in extreme cases, the hotel provided a laundry service. Of the minuses - it seemed to me that the room was not cleaned very carefully and the check-in was not very fast. But all this did not spoil the impression, because there were objectively more pluses, and even for that kind of money.

A few more tips for hotel guests:

1. It is worth taking with you (although you can buy on the spot at the Crossroads) tablets for PMM, kitchen towels. The hotel gives only one pill, no matter how many days

2. For minor household issues, it is easier to contact not the reception, where there is always a queue, but the senior one at the entrance (concierge), she resolves issues faster.

3. In order to get to the neighboring villages - Rosa Khutor and Gazprom Laura, there are public transport stops right in front of the hotel. The bus fare to Rosa Khutor is 19 rubles per person. From Rosa Khutor to Gazprom - 10 rubles. It is much cheaper than driving your own car and paying for a parking space there. You can’t just leave the car - parking is prohibited and tow trucks are working. And there is a shuttle from the hotel to the beach.

4. When buying tickets for entertainment in Gorki Gorod (for example, climbing Mount Black Pyramid), hotel guests receive a discount.

4. Towels on the Gorki Gorod beach in Imeretinka can be omitted: they are issued on the beach upon presentation of a resident's card.

In the village of "Gorki Gorod" there are a lot of cafes and restaurants for every taste and budget. There are network ones too. In a large shopping center next to our apart-hotel there is a Perekrestok supermarket, so there were no problems with food. In the building of the 7th building, where we lived, there is a store with fresh local dairy products "Agrocomplex".

By the way, on the third floor of "Gorki Gorod Mall" was indoor water park . where my family and I also went. More Fun - Unlimited Free skiing on a lift to a height of +960 m. for hotel guests. You can not say what kind of view opens up on the mountains and the Mzymta River from there))) And if you climb even higher than the upper Gorka Gorod, then the greatness of nature is so amazing that the desire to return here no longer lets go.

Also near the hotel rent modern expensive bicycles and ride to the neighboring Olympic village of Rosa Khutor or Gazprom Laura. There are bikes with children's bike seats, there are just bikes for children, the ride is about 20 minutes, it's very cool!

I want to emphasize again. Gorki city is an all-season resort, although most people do not perceive summer holidays in the mountains, and believe that they are suitable only for winter pastime. We are convinced that it is wonderful here in the summer. The price level is low, there are not many people, the mountains are amazing, the hotel is great! In general, for our family, this is just the perfect format for a summer vacation. We will definitely go again! Most likely, now we will try to come in the winter, to master skiing and snowboarding. And I am sure that we will choose the same hotel again. I will definitely write about my impressions!

Please study the photos posted here carefully. The beaches of the Imeretinskaya Bay have the most paved space and amenities of the European level. In fact, this is the southern extension of the Olympic Park, the purpose of which was to make foreigners shout in 2014 “Wow! It is a beautiful! We have described all 5 baths here.

Olympic Beach (Radisson Blu Resort - Rosa Khutor)

The riviera under the easternmost point of the radius is divided into two sections (the first is described here, the second lies between Bogatyr and Hi-Beach). The place is adjacent to, and named after the last bus stop. The water line stretches in an arc for exactly one kilometer - from the descent from to the pontoon of the Global Lounge restaurant. And its width ranges from 25 to 70 m.

Citizens and visiting spa guests are pleasantly surprised by the presence of two stairs - from the stop. "Puck" and "Fisht", free admission, locker rooms, the tower of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, sun umbrellas (available for rent) and a fun playground. There are no pontoons. The depth grows at an average angle, the surface is medium pebbly, the water is muddy. The nearest restaurant is the Global Lounge. You also have access to hotels in the Morskoy Residential Complex.

It is located immediately behind the described location - from the pier opposite the Global Lounge to the border of the elite microdistrict. Nekrasovskoe, where you can stay. Near the "Bogatyr" an educational "town" "Sirius" and the stop. minibuses 100. The length of the coastal edge is 600 m, it goes into the depths of the city by 8-70 m, standing out as the narrowest section behind the Global Lounge restaurant, where you can have a bite to eat.

The beach boasts an infrastructure that exhausts all your requests:

  • wooden footbridges;
  • rental of umbrellas and sun loungers;
  • inflatable children's attractions;
  • garbage containers (cleanliness is monitored by employees of the Bogatyr Group of Companies);
  • water slides;
  • beach volleyball courts;
  • locker rooms;
  • summer bar;
  • bike rental;
  • swing.

Another "heroic" "highlight" is the presence of life buoys hung everywhere, as well as the smoothest (of all the beaches of the Imeretinskaya Bay) entry into the muddy water.

Hi Beach! - the beach of the state farm Russia

This stretch of coast awaits you behind the second beach "branch" of the Resort & Congress Center Radisson Blu. Regarding the roadway, this is the first half of Tsimlyanskaya Street (the one that goes to the Adler District Museum).

In fact, this is the embankment of the Sovkhoz Rossiya quarter. The harbor has the same length as the street - 730 m. The width of this whole economy ranges from 20 to 30 m (High Beach without extensions, there are no pontoons either).

Bathers appreciate this resort for its clean shore (medium pebbles), smooth entry into the sea and equipment. This refers to the rental of sunbeds and umbrellas, sun-protection reed fungi, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (circles, medics, rescuers), locker rooms and showers.

Fans of the water recreational zone "Hi, beach!" live in guest houses and mini-hotels of the state farm Rossiya. Despite the old-fashioned name of the microdistrict, housing here is quite elite and at the same time relatively inexpensive. You have to eat at Vysota 5642.

As you may have guessed, the seaside location is named after another fashionable hotel in Sochi. He keeps order here - cleanliness, safety and quality of bathers' leisure.

"Bridge Resort" starts from the Museum of the History of the Adler District (restaurant "Surozh") and finishes at a dead end st. Tsimlyanskaya, following along the already indicated hotel establishment and residential complex on Uritsky Street (stop "Ekaterininsky kv-l"). From end to end, this piece of water area is 600 m with a width of 23-40 m.

The coast is divided into two zones - one has sun loungers and awnings, and the other does not. Democratic. Entry into the water is steep, pebbles of the same size as on the neighboring beaches of the Nizhneimetinskaya Bay. And at the bottom, holes begin to appear.

Beach of the Catherine's Quarter ("Psou")

If you analyze the photo, the beaches of the Imeretinskaya Bay at its very end begin to partially go around the Sovkhoz Rossiya microdistrict from the east. Once upon a time this place was named after the border reservoir, however, in those days it was not yet such. The piece of Sochi land indicated in the title has a length just equal to the southern side of the Ekaterininsky Quarter and the wasteland in front of the military unit - only 500 m. And in some fragments it reaches 55 m in width, on average 40 m.

Responses call beach recreation "European". It's too clean, and it's also non-smoking. Those who do not like such rules insert angry reprises, adorned with curses. Many, for example, are strained by barbed wire over an iron fence. And some women are embarrassed by the "hungry" looks of the border guards.

Did you like a piece of marina? Check into one of the apartments here. And as for eating, it’s even easier - in front of you are the cafes La and Bash, Vinaigrette and Basil. The nearest stop is "Ekaterininsky Quarter". All "Olympic" bus routes run here.

Beaches on the map of the Imeretinskaya Bay

Like the coast of the village of Nizhneimetinskaya Bay, the beaches of the southernmost Sochi were discussed above. They appeared instead of the wild border shore, where the village of the Old Believers and the "Armenian quarter" went out. It remains to evaluate them all, making up your own opinion about beach amenities. The new resort has transformed the appearance of the southeastern edge of the urban district of Sochi. This fact is confirmed by the numerous reviews of the "mattress" who came here on vacation. In conclusion, we offer an informative video clip, enjoy watching.

Until the season is over, I will write briefly on those issues that interested me personally before the trip (regarding an infant 4-5 months old). It was a trial trip from the house consisting of me + daughter, grandmother + grandfather. I wanted to test a baby on an airplane, road, etc. on a simple and short trip. Well, just change the picture zadolbalsya me.

Gorki City, all-season ski resort, built for the Olympics in the village of Esto-Sadok (next to Krasnaya Polyana). There is a lot of basic information on gorkygorod.ru

You can live at two heights - 540m (Lower Hills, hotels and apart-hotels) and 680m (Upper City, more expensive hotels and swinging at luhari). From Moscow by plane to fly 2 hours (Aeroflot). Transfer from the airport by car 35-40 minutes to the Lower and another 10 minutes along a gentle serpentine to the Upper Hills). There is no sea nearby - accordingly, minus the crowds of compatriots. There are mountains, amazing views, ski lifts, clean air, sun, doing nothing.
You can swim in the pools (Marriott, Gazprom, spa areas of hotels, water park in GorkiMall) or go to the Imeretinsky beach by transfer (everything is paid). But we are not fans of swimming in the Russian Federation and treating rotaviruses, so I didn’t delve deeply into it.

Initially, I drew attention to the admiration of the apart-hotel Gorod Gorki (540). This is a complex of buildings scattered around the Lower City with a very democratic pricing policy. All rooms have well-equipped kitchens and come with 1 to 3 bedrooms. No meals, room cleaning every 4 days - in general, an ordinary apart-hotel.

Of the pluses - the price tag and the location is close to the Mountain Carousel (although everything is close there, what is there). But two things bothered me. Firstly, sanitation (rarely cleaned and, according to reviews, not very carefully). Secondly, a lottery when issuing numbers. My friends rented two equivalent rooms for the same money (kitchen / living room + two bedrooms), and as a result, some got a huge room (more than 100 sqm) with a balcony, and the second one was like "you open the front door, and it rests on the dining table."

I think the difference is in the period of residence (the first lived for two months, the second for two weeks) and in the ability to swing rights (the first shook, the second did not care). If the child is older, or the parents are calm about the simplicity of life, this is a great option for a long stay in the summer for a relative five cents. I think next summer to test the same.

I did not want to participate in lotteries with a baby. But I wanted silence and more coolness. Therefore, in the end, I settled on a small Solis Sochi Suites (960m), booked through Booking. The day before departure (as always in Russia suddenly) they called from the hotel and said that it was actually closed for repairs. But, to the credit of the Solis administration, they offered accommodation in another Solis (Sochi Hotel), at the same 960 meters, with an upgrade of our room with the baby. In general, the replacement turned out to be nice, because Solis Sochi Hotel is completely away from the traffic, silence, excellent views, that's all. And if air conditioners still worked normally there, he wouldn’t have a price))

Of the huge pluses - the view from the balcony of the restaurant (we took it with breakfast and dinner, so as not to rush around with the child in the heat in search of food) and masseur Ivan at the Spa Hotel (in the summer, by the way, they have 30% discounts to the price list).

It was possible to plunge into this mountain, giving the baby to the babodeds, endlessly.
As well as sleeping on a massage with Ivan))

The upper town looks like a small European town. And for decoration at the same time. There are so few people there, and everything is new. On the weekends, of course, hacking troops from below come, but they are mostly passing to a higher altitude, so contact can be avoided.

There are more people in Nizhnye Gorki, but also in comparison with some Sochi or Adler - one and a half people.
Between the levels there is a lift with closed cabins, free of charge for hotel guests on both levels (upon presentation of a room key card). Climbing higher is already for money. And keep in mind, there will already be open chair lifts higher, you need to be careful with children.

There are not very many conditions for wheelchairs at the top, solid stairs, but you can almost always find a detour. We took a yoyo, it was of little use (but partly because the baby did not want to sit still in it and strove to go out head first). There are more flat sidewalks and ramps downstairs, of course, but also not shiny.

Now for the household stuff.
At 540m there is a Gorki Mall with a strange array of shops. Of the useful - Crossroads (in terms of assortment and prices, it is similar to Moscow ones). There is a pharmacy at the base of the lift (540m). At 960m there is also some kind of under-pharmacy with the main categories of goods, but not everything is available (at the Panorama hotel).

I was very worried about the issue of the presence of diapers (my adored Mooney). So, I managed to find Muni in Gorki Gorod only in one place - a small children's shop at an altitude of 540 (if you go from the lift to GorkiMall, it will be almost immediately). But everywhere (in pharmacies, at the Crossroads) there are a lot of Merris, Pampers and Liberos. They cost, however, noticeably more expensive (I buy Mooney in Moscow for 1100 - in Gorki they are 1600 per pack). There are disposable diapers, bottles, toys, swim diapers and even clothes for babies (from size 68, in that very little shop with Muni).

At the Crossroads there are mixtures of Nan, Friso, Similak (and a couple of other items), all sorts of purees (usual for the assortment of Crossroads).
In general, if necessary, you can provide a baby, if not with the usual brand, then with an analogue, but you will have to overpay a little.

I wrote about a driver with a car seat and a car seat here:. If relevant, I can give the coordinates of the rental of a normal infant carrier, ask. If something else is not clear - similarly)

All in all, a good place for summer.
